• Local and seasonal fruit: Most of our fruit is sourced from the UK and Western Europe, supporting local producers and minimising emissions from long-haul transportation. We never buy air-freighted fruit.
• Responsible suppliers: Our suppliers meet the highest standards of sustainability and quality, with all core suppliers being BRC certified and Global GAP compliant. Our banana suppliers are also Rainforest Alliance certified.
• Tree planting campaign: For every Fruit Basket we sell, we plant 1 tree helping to combat deforestation and support local communities.
• Excess fruit policy: Rejected fruit from our quality control is repackaged and donated to local charities and schools.
• Circular economy advocate: We minimise waste with a reuse, recycle, and recyclable ethos. 100% of our fruit basket packaging is biodegradable, compostable, or recyclable.
