This policy explains how Purpose Planet delivers vending, coffee, fresh fruit, platters and catering services to workplaces across the UK. Because we operate recurring scheduled services as well as one-off and event catering orders, delivery arrangements vary by service type, as set out below. This policy should be read alongside our Return and Refund Policy, which covers what happens if goods arrive damaged, incorrect or faulty.
Delivery Area and Charges
Where We Deliver
Purpose Planet delivers to workplaces and commercial premises across the UK. Coverage, delivery frequency and any regional restrictions are confirmed at the point of quote or order, based on your location and the service requested.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges, if any, depend on order value, location and service type, and will always be confirmed at the quote or order confirmation stage before you commit to an order. Recurring workplace services are typically agreed as part of an account or contract arrangement, which sets out delivery frequency and any associated costs.
Order Cut-Offs and Lead Times
Lead times vary by service. As a general guide:
Exact cut-off times and lead times for your account or order will be confirmed in your service agreement, quote or order confirmation.
How Your Deliveries Work
Recurring and Scheduled Deliveries
This section applies to vending consumable top-ups, coffee supplies and fresh fruit deliveries.
- These services are typically delivered on an agreed recurring schedule (for example, weekly).
- Orders can be amended, paused or adjusted ahead of the published cut-off time for that delivery round.
- Where a delivery date falls on a UK bank holiday, we will contact you in advance to agree an alternative delivery day.
One-Off and Time-Critical Deliveries
This section applies to catering platters, event catering and other date-specific orders.
- Please provide as much notice as possible, and at minimum the lead time shown above, to allow for preparation and logistics planning.
- A specific delivery time window will be agreed and confirmed ahead of your event or delivery date.
- Last-minute changes to guest numbers, dietary requirements or delivery times may not always be possible to accommodate and should be raised with our team as early as you can.
Equipment Delivery and Installation
This section applies to coffee machines, vending machines and related equipment.
- Delivery and installation dates are agreed in advance and may involve a site visit or survey beforehand.
- Please ensure clear access to the installation site and that any necessary power, water or space requirements discussed with our team are in place ahead of the scheduled date.
- Where installation cannot go ahead due to site access issues on the day, a rescheduling fee may apply.
If Something Doesn't Go to Plan
Unattended Workplace Deliveries
Many of our deliveries are made to office and workplace locations where a specific individual may not be available to receive goods in person. Where a delivery point or nominated contact has been agreed with your organisation, we will deliver in line with those instructions. Responsibility for goods transfers to the customer once delivery is confirmed at the agreed location, so please ensure deliveries are checked and any issues reported promptly, as set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
Missed or Failed Deliveries
- If a delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to receive it and no unattended delivery instructions are on file, we will contact you to arrange a suitable redelivery.
- Repeated failed delivery attempts due to site access issues may incur a redelivery charge.
- If you believe a scheduled delivery has not arrived, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate.
Damaged, Incorrect or Delayed Deliveries
If your delivery arrives damaged, incorrect or later than agreed, please let us know within the reporting windows set out in our Return and Refund Policy (24–48 hours for perishable goods such as fruit, platters and prepared food, and up to 30 days for faulty equipment). Photographic evidence helps us resolve issues quickly.
Perishable goods (fruit, platters and prepared food) should be checked and any issues reported within 24–48 hours of delivery, as these items cannot be held or returned once delivered.
Delays Outside Our Control
Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, traffic disruption or courier network issues. Where we anticipate a delay to a scheduled or time-critical delivery, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to advise of the revised timing.
Contact Us
